Bolt.Earth Unveils Bold Roadmap to Power India’s EV Transformation
Bolt.Earth has announced an ambitious plan to install 1 million EV charging points across India by 2028, solidifying its position as a key player in the country’s electric mobility shift. With India’s growing demand for EV infrastructure, particularly in the two- and three-wheeler segments, the company’s vertically integrated model—designing both hardware and software in-house—allows it to deliver efficient, cost-effective solutions tailored for Indian conditions.
A major highlight of Bolt.Earth’s strategy is its innovation in fast-charging technology. The Blaze DC charger, created specifically for India’s two- and three-wheelers, cuts charging time drastically to just 80 minutes from the conventional 4–6 hours. Combined with AI-driven network optimisation and a nationwide team of certified technicians, the company ensures consistent quality while identifying high-traffic zones and boosting utilisation through targeted campaigns.
Looking ahead, Bolt.Earth aims to turn profitable by FY26 while supporting India’s 2030 EV goals. CEO Raghav Bharadwaj believes the market is poised for rapid acceleration, comparing its potential evolution to the UPI ecosystem, where a few dominant players emerge. With revenues of ₹9 crore in FY24 and a rapidly expanding footprint, Bolt.Earth is positioning itself at the forefront of India’s EV infrastructure revolution.
