BJP MP to introduce private bill to control population
Actor and BJP MP Ravi Kishan will introduce a private bill related to population control in the Lok Sabha. Ravi Kishan is a father of four children. He is MP from Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh. The MP has three daughters and a son. We can become Vishwaguru only when we bring population control bill.
Population control is very important, he told news agency ANI. If the population continues to increase in this way, there will be a population explosion in the country. “I request the opposition to allow me to introduce the bill and listen to what I have to say,” he said.
Minister of State for Health Bharti Praveen Pawar had told the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday that the Center was not considering any legislative measures for population control. Pawar also said that the government is trying to stabilize the population by 2045 in accordance with the National Population Policy-2000 and National Health Policy-2017.
According to the National Family Health Survey, the birth rate fell to 2.0 in 2019-21. The Minister stated that this is lower than expected. Many BJP leaders, including Union Minister Giriraj Singh, have called for legislation to curb India’s ever-increasing population growth. According to a United Nations report, India’s population will surpass China’s in 2023.
