BJP furious over West Bengal’s denial of permission to its chief’s rally

The BJP has expressed its extreme dissatisfaction over the West Bengal government’s denial of permission to the rally in which the BJP president was expected to participate as a political star figure.

The party has organised protests across the region in order to express its dissatisfaction over the West Bengal government’s move.

The party has also criticized the Election Commission over this issue. It has alleged that the EC has failed to take concrete action against the misuse of power by the West Bengal government led by TMC leader Mamata Banerjee, who is indirectly projected as a Prime Ministerial candidate by a section of the opposition.

The saffron party has also alleged that the TMC has unleashed violence in the state to threaten its opponents such as the BJP.

As per the BJP camp’s view, the EC has given no attention to take serious action against those unleashed the violence in the state.

Jadhavpur, the region in which the rally was scheduled to take place early today, will go to poll stations on May 19.

In the region, the BJP is the prime rival of the TMC. There are rumours that the region will change the course of the West Bengal politics in this election. How?
