Arun Jaitley put on life support
Former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley who has been undergoing treatment in the All India Institute of Medical Science since August nine has been put on life support in the hospital.
Recently, several senior political leaders, including Home Minister Amit Shah, have visited Mr. Jaitley.
The former minister was actually admitted in the hospital with complaints of breathlessness, weakness and uneasiness.
Union Health Minister recently asserted that the doctors in the hospital were doing their best to help the former minister.
At present, the BJP leader is treated by an expert team of nephrologist, endocrinologist and cardiologist.
The hospital has not yet released a health bulletin regarding the health condition of the respected leader.
Mr Jaitley was a prominent member in the first Modi government, which came to power in the year 2014.
The first Modi government awarded him the most important ministry of finance. He was a cabinet member then. His performance as a finance minister was more than exceptional. It was during his tenure several significant changes were brought to the Indian economy.
Mr Jaitley is regarded as one of the most efficient finance ministers the country has ever witnessed.
It is hoped that he will recover from his disease condition soon.
