Apple Launches Education Hub in Bengaluru to Upskill Supplier Workforce
Apple has launched a first-of-its-kind Education Hub in Bengaluru in collaboration with Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) to strengthen India’s supply chain talent. The hub will provide specialized digital education and Swift coding training for employees at Apple supplier facilities, starting with Tata Electronics and expanding to over 25 sites nationwide.
The program, funded through Apple’s $50 million global Supplier Employee Development Fund, will have MAHE faculty train instructors who will then conduct large-scale classes at supplier facilities. Apple aims to offer more than 75 courses covering technical, digital, and professional skills, building on the success of its robotics training program launched in December 2025.
Apple’s vice president of Environment and Supply Chain Innovation, Sarah Chandler, emphasized that the initiative offers employees career growth opportunities and valuable skill development. The company will also train factory educators in robotics labs, enabling them to customize training based on the needs of individual facilities.
