Angry Nayanthara Fans Call Out Karan Johar For His “Not In My List” Comment On Koffee With Karan 7

Without a controversy or two, no Koffee With Karan episode is complete, and the most recent edition is no exception. Superstars Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Akshay Kumar appeared in the final episode of Koffee With Karan 7.

Whom did Samantha Ruth Prabhu consider to be the biggest female actor in the South? was a question Karan Johar posed to her during the episode. Samantha remarked, “Well, I just completed a film with Nayanthara,” referring to her Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal co-star Nayanthara. “Well, not in my list,” KJo retorted, alluding to a study by Ormax Media that ranked Samantha as the top female actor in the nation.

Fans of Nayanthara called out Karan Johar and reported his remark as rude shortly after the episode aired. “Because, sir, your list is not worthy of her! She’s a female superstar “read a remark. While this was going on, some Twitter users thanked Samantha Ruth Prabhu for mentioning Nayanthara.

Another post stated, “The way Karan Johar disrespected Nayanthara hurts my heart.”

Nayanthara, who has appeared in more than 70 movies, was most recently spotted in Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Sethupathi’s Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, directed by her husband Vignesh Shivan. Atlee’s Jawan, which also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Shah Rukh Khan, is her upcoming production.
