Actor Vaishali Takkar’s Ex-Boyfriend Sent To Judicial Custody, Say Police

The key suspect detained in connection with the alleged suicide of well-known television actor Vaishali Takkar was committed to judicial detention by a municipal court in Indore on Friday. Rahul Navlani, the primary defendant, was placed in judicial custody by the court at the conclusion of his eight-day police detention, according to a prosecution official.

Although the police assert that they have enough evidence to convict Rahul in the case of aiding suicide, they are still working to recover the erased data from his mobile device.

“We have enough evidence against Rahul based on Vaishali’s suicide note and statements of her family members. We are trying to submit a chargesheet against him in the court soon,” assistant commissioner of police (ACP) Moti-ur-Rehman told PTI.

Rahul allegedly removed data from his mobile phone prior to his detention on October 19.

The official stated that the police are attempting to obtain the data with the aid of technological experts and that they are also attempting to extract data from various social networking sites in order to gather further evidence.

He stated that the deceased actor’s family members claimed that Rahul, who was already married, had been bothering her ever since he learned of her engagement.

On October 15, Vaishali’s body was discovered in her residence. Vaishali accused Rahul of pestering her in a five-page suicide note that was discovered by the police at the scene. Disha, the wife of Rahul, is being sought after.

With the television series “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai,” Vaishali launched her career. She appeared in more than a dozen serials and rose to fame as Sasural Simar Ka.
