Reliance Consumer Products Launches Budget Bottled Water Brand ‘Campa Sure’
Reliance Consumer Products is set to enter India’s ₹30,000-crore packaged water market with the launch of its new brand, Campa Sure. Positioned as a budget-friendly option, the brand aims to take on market leaders Bisleri, Coca-Cola’s Kinley, and PepsiCo’s Aquafina through aggressive pricing and regional partnerships for bottling, distribution, and technology support.
The company will roll out Campa Sure in northern markets first, offering a 250 ml bottle at ₹5, a one-litre pack at ₹15, and a two-litre pack at ₹25—20–30% cheaper than current national brands. Industry analysts note that this move echoes Reliance’s earlier Campa soft drinks launch, which disrupted the carbonated beverages segment and pushed competitors to cut prices or introduce smaller packs.
The launch coincides with the government’s GST 2.0 rollout, which reduced the tax on packaged water from 18% to 5%, creating space for price cuts across the sector. Reliance has also earmarked an investment of ₹6,000–8,000 crore over the next 12–15 months to expand its beverage manufacturing footprint with 10–12 new facilities, marking its largest consumer products push to date.
