Boat With AK-47s Belongs To Australian, No Terror Angle Yet: Minister

Off the coast of Maharashtra in Raigad, a suspicious boat with AK-47 assault rifles and other weapons was discovered. According to state home minister Devendra Fadnavis, it belongs to Australian citizen Hana Laundergun. According to Devendra Fadnavis, deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, fisherman discovered the 16-meter-long yacht at Harihareshwar Beach in Raigad in a wrecked state, along with three AK-47s, bullets, and other weaponry.

Aditi Tatkare, a Raigad MLA, reported asking Maharashtra Chief Minister for a special investigation into the event.
She added that the event is a serious security concern because it occurs a day before a significant festival.

“Tomorrow is Dahi Handi, Ganeshotsav is just 10 days away. People come here during these festivals. Security is an important issue,” Ms Tatkare told reporters.Locals discovered the empty boat 190 kilometres from Mumbai and informed security services.
Senior officials including the Superintendent of Police for Raigad, Ashok Dudhe, flocked to the scene to search the boat.According to the authorities, the boat floated up to the coast of Raigad.

Assembled weapons were discovered in the boat, according to the authorities. The cops recovered three AK-47 rifles and a few rounds on the boat and are continuing their investigation. Police are on high alert, and security has been reinforced in the area.
