Woman commits suicide after allegedly being raped by four men, including a policeman

A 23-year-old woman has committed suicide by consuming poison in Mahabubabad, Telangana. The complaint was lodged at the Nellikudur police station in Mahabubabad on Wednesday. The girl had complained that she was brutally raped when she went to her friend’s house.

The complaint states that the torture took place on February 16. The complaint alleges that the harassment continued on February 17. The woman, who returned home on February 18, was found to be consuming poison. At around 8 in the morning, the brother noticed that his sister was consuming poison. The girl was rushed to a hospital in Mahabubabad. The woman died on February 22 while undergoing treatment. Explained about torture information. Then came the death of the young woman.

The FIR was filed under sections 376D, 306, 354D and 34 of the IPC. Police say they have identified a high-ranking official and a police constable who have been charged with torture. Three people have already been taken into police custody in the incident.
