‘Look, this is the beauty of India’; Rahul Gandhi takes over Muthappan and a Muslim woman conversation

The video of the conversation between Muthappan Theyyam, the main Theyyakola in Malabar, with a Muslim woman is still viral on social media. The video, which was celebrated all over Kerala, is now being discussed by Rahul Gandhi across the country.

Rahul, who is also a Wayanad MP, shared a video of Muthappan’s conversation with a Muslim woman and wrote on Facebook that this is the beauty of India. “India means embracing all cultures, celebrating differences and standing up for each other,” he said.

Muthappan Theyyam has been a star on social media for days. You are no other, then Muthappan calls a Muslim woman to come closer. Kerala saw Muthappan’s words as a message of brotherhood in a time of discrimination and segregation. The theyyam was took place at Balakrishnan’s house on the shores of Cheruvathur went viral. Muthappan theyyakkolam was performed by Sunil Peruvannan. Ramla, a woman, also received the blessing.
