Hertiage library for women only ready community in Kerala

As we celebrate International Women’s Day, a 190-year old heritage library in Kerala is not installed with a unique gift for women- an exclusive reading community for them.

The State Central Libary is centred of the capital city, launched the all-women group to encourage reading among the women reads, especially homemakers.

Popularly known as the Trivandrum Public Library, the heritage structure consists of the finest collection of rare titles begin from the 16th century and was established in 1829.

There are many programs planned to promote women reading community.
