Priyanka Chopra wins People’s choice award for Quantico
Priyanka Chopra is people’s choice for favourite actress in a new TV series. 42nd annual People’s choice award ceremony took place on Wednesday evening in Los Angeles. Glee star Jane Lynch hosted the evening that brought people before the TV screen as they are looking forward to see their icon with the trophy. Indian audience rejoiced as Priyanka Chopra won the award for her performance in Quantico, beating Jamie Lee curtis, Emma Roberts, Lea Michel and Marcia Gay Harden.
In Quantico, Priyanka plays an FBI agent who is framed as a terrorist. Quantico also became one of the series to have Non-American star in the lead role. The show garnered positive reviews and Chopra’s performance is also appreciated. Former Miss World also received acclaim for her acting in Dil Dhadakne Do and Bajirao Mastani.
