Once again Rupee goes down by 11 paise against dollar
The rupee falls again by 11 paise to 63.78 against the US dollar at the Foreign Exchange due ti an increase in the American currency. Forex dealers say due to a increased demand for the dollar from importers also bought an increase on the local currency, but a higher opening in the domestic equity market limited rupee’s fall.
The rupee had had a change of five paise to close at 63.67 against the US currency last time due to high selling of dollars by banks and exporters.
The benchmark BSE Sensex rose 206.93 points, or 0.74 per cent, to 27,852.56 in early trade.
