The railway officer says that 3 people were killed and 5 others injured when the jeep they were travelling crashed into a running passenger train at an unmanned railway crossing in Avadoot Ashram area.
The incident occurred at around 7.45 PM, when a Bolero jeep they were travelling in was hit by Bikaner-Delhi Sarai Rohilla train. The jeep’s fuel tank caught fire due to the collision, he said. The deceased were identified as Prathviraj Bhadu(45), Manglaram Goswami(30) and Balveer (32). Injured were rushed to a government hospital in Suratgarh, he added.
