Sanjay Dutt and Ali Fazal staring political drama ‘Prasthanam’ teaser released
Actor Sanjay Dutt on his 60th birthday released the teaser on his upcoming project ‘Prasthanam’. The political drama is the Hindi remake of the 2010 Telugu movie of the same name. The film is directed by Deva Katta, Who also directed the Telugu movie.
The teaser exhibits the power-packed gripping performance by Sanjay Dutt and Ali Fazal. The teaser opens with the shot of Sanjay Dutt entering while his voice over in the background says “Haq doge toh Ramayan shuru hogi, chhinoge toh Mahabharat.” Manisha Koirala, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Panday, Amyra Dastur and Satyajeet Dubey are the other actors playing pivotal role in the movie.
The original film narrated the story of a politician and the complex relations in his family. Director Deva Katta had recently said that the team has not made any significant changes in the Hindi remake. He said, “Firstly, there are no changes to the story at all, except refining and polishing the canvas and all that. It is very relevant. I have rewritten the screenplay the dialogues are written by Farhad.”
The movie is produced by Maanayata Dutt and it will hit the screen on 20th September 2019.
