NCW seeks explanation from Congress Prez for his misogynist remarks against Defence Minister

oof

The National Commission for Women has sought an explanation from Congress President Rahul Gandhi for his misogynist remarks against Union Defence Minister Nirmala Seetharaman.

The misogynist remark that Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked a woman to defend him was made in response to the defence minister’s attempt to defend the government from the questions, regarding the controversial Rafale deal, directed against the PM, in the absence of the PM in the parliament.

The Congress President’s intention, most probably, might have been to portray that the PM fear to face the questions triggered by the opposition in relation with the controversial deal.

To the bad luck of the young leader, most politicians and women right activists, primarily those who support the rightwing camp, have failed to understand the crux of Rahul Gandhi’s remark.

The Congress scion may have to file his response within few days. If not, he may attract further action.

There is no dispute among ordinary people in one thing that a nation leader like Mr. Rahul Gandhi should have taken more caution while speaking about a woman leader working with his political opponents.

Even Congress leaders can’t forge a defence around their leader this time, forgetting the fact that no mature leader will make any irresponsible comments against women.

The incident clearly exposes the shortcomings of Rahul Gandhi as a responsible leader of the world’s largest democracy.
