Akshaya Tritiya a festival among Hindus that celebrates with much fervor and joy.

Akshaya Tritiya is also known as Akti or Akha Teej is primarily celebrated among Hindus and Jains today across India.

Akshaya Tritiya is considered to be an auspicious day to purchase gold, surges, jewellery, silver and utensils. This day is believed as auspicious to perform ceremonies or start new ventures without consulting an astrologer for Murtha. According to Hindu astrology, it is believed that the sun and the moon become equally bright on Akshaya Tritiya day. However, there are many myth stories related to this day.

According to Hinduism, Akshaya Tritiya is blessed by Lord Vishnu. On this day, Lakshminarayana form of Lord Vishnu is worshiped with devotion. The Lakshiminarayana form of Lord Vishnu is worshiped along with Goddess Lakshmi. That’s one of the main reason Akshaya Tritiya is associated to Goddess Lakshmi. The wealth of gold or jewels are accumulated with the grace of Goddess Lakshmi, that’s one of the central reason for many investing in gold and other jewellery metals today.

This day is considered as auspicious to perform ceremonies, Akshaya Tritiya Puja​ and for donations.
