Wakefit Sets IPO Price Band at ₹185–195, Targeting Nearly ₹60 Billion Valuation
Indian furniture and mattress maker Wakefit Innovations has set a price band of ₹185–195 per share for its upcoming initial public offering, aiming for a valuation of up to ₹59.96 billion ($668.9 million). The IPO will open for anchor investors on December 5 and for retail investors on December 8, according to a newspaper advertisement. The company has trimmed its fresh issue size to ₹3.77 billion from an earlier planned ₹4.68 billion, as reflected in its prospectus.
Wakefit’s market debut comes at a time when India’s retail and home furnishings sectors are witnessing strong growth, supported by rising discretionary spending. The buoyant IPO market is also expected to break last year’s record fundraising of $20.5 billion, with as much as $8 billion in offerings projected in the final quarter of 2025. Wakefit, backed by investors including Peak XV Partners, Redwood Trust, Verlinvest, SAI Global India Fund, and Paramark KB Fund, will also see partial stake sales from these investors.
Operating in a competitive landscape alongside players such as Sheela Foam, IKEA, Duroflex, and Godrej & Boyce, Wakefit plans to list its shares on Indian stock exchanges starting December 15. The offering marks another significant milestone for India’s evolving consumer goods and home solutions market.
