Varanasi airport going to witness the 1st national highway under the runway

The first Indian airport to have national highway beneath its runway is getting ready!                                                                                                              Yes! The Lal Bahadur  Shastri International Airport close to Varanasi makes the mark.

After a detail discuss the project got on to its track, an underpass will be constructed as the four land highway road and the present runway will be extended from 2750 meters to 4.075 meters.
