Titan Reports Strong Q2 Profit Growth
India’s leading jewellery retailer, Titan Company, reported a better-than-expected increase in second-quarter profits on Thursday, November 5, 2026. The growth was driven by a shift towards higher-margin diamond-studded jewellery, which boosted profitability despite slower growth in its overall jewellery business.
Titan, which owns popular brands such as Tanishq and CaratLane, recorded a consolidated net profit of ₹23.93 billion ($253.21 million) for the quarter ended September 30. This was more than double the ₹11.20 billion profit reported during the same period last year.
The company’s performance exceeded analysts’ expectations of ₹14.73 billion, according to LSEG data. The strong results highlight Titan’s ability to improve earnings through its focus on higher-margin jewellery products despite slower growth in the broader jewellery segment.
