Tech Mahindra, the fifth-largest exporter of IT services in the nation, declared on Tuesday that it would be hiring 3,000 workers in Gujarat over the following five years.
The number of employees employed by the organisation now in Gujarat could not be determined right away.
On Tuesday, it executed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Gujarati government in accordance with its IT/ITeS (IT enabled services) policy.
According to the company’s managing director and chief executive C P Gurnani, the agreement will allow the company to respond to the shifting engineering needs of businesses. He also thanked the state for its efforts to make doing business easier.
According to a government release, the IT/ITeS policy has resulted in the signing of 15 Memorandum of Understandings with local and international businesses, which will create some 26,750 skilled IT employment opportunities in the state.
