Sabrcare Striving To Provide Comprehensive Cancer Care For Everyone Especially Young Children

With the rise of cancer day by day, people find it difficult to get the financial support they need. Due to this, for many cancer is seen as a horrific disease by many nowadays. Sabrcare took the initiative to offer cancer sufferers free assistance. Informational support, emotional support, and medically practical guidance are all forms of assistance.

The creator of Sabrcare, Lourdes, saw her mother struggle with cancer. In India, there are effective cancer therapies accessible, but patients and carers are not informed about them.

Four friends of Lourdes helped her set up the trust. The trust was started on 4 June 2018. This inspiring tale is about Sabrcare and its team. The friends had seen the cancer journey firsthand in persons who were dear to them. To assist cancer patients in overcoming this difficult challenge in life, the group of friends decided to change their focus and work on cancer care in India.

Lourdes spoke with over 200 cancer patients to better understand their experiences and challenges. She was able to identify 15 ways that Sabrcare may support and aid cancer patients.

Due to financial strain and a lack of resources, many families discontinue cancer treatment in the middle. Thousands of patients are seen at public cancer treatment facilities, and waiting can be difficult for the patients.

The objective is to give residents of Goa and the surrounding area proper cancer care. The majority of those helped by Sabrcare come from economically disadvantaged groups in society. These communities struggle to get access to clean drinking water, basic health care necessities, and few resources.

Sabrcare focuses on the families of children with cancer. The gaps in India’s system for treating cancer, in Lourdes’ opinion, cause the greatest suffering among children. Children miss their youth as well, and the experience is terrifying to them.

For the benefit of children who require blood, the charity has also actively planned blood donation camps. Also, Sabrcare participates in gift drives on various occasions. Gifts gathered by Sabrcare through contributions are given to children with cancer on various occasions.

Sabrcare was included in Google’s ranking of the top 50 nonprofits in India. In an effort to reach a wider audience, the Charity is working with Yunus & Young to develop an app. The group hopes to establish a day when complete cancer treatment is available to everyone who needs it.
