PM Modi inaugurated Eastern Peripheral Expressway
India’s first green and smart highway ‘Eastern Peripheral Expressway’ was dedicated by PM Narendra Modi on Sunday.
The first leg of Delhi Meerut project, the135-km expressway has a provision of rainwater harvesting every 500 metres and is powered by solar energy, Cost of ₹11,000 crore. Eastern Peripheral Expressway connectivity is between Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Greater Noida, and Palwal.
