National Herald Case: Congress to stage nationwide protest on June 13 over Rahul’s questioning

Congress to protest in front of ED offices across the country on June 13. The protest is being organized because of the statement of ED Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald Case. The move is aimed at staging a satyagraha in front of ED offices across the country.

Congress working committee members, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MPs and general secretaries in charge of the state will line up in March. In this connection, all the leaders have been directed to reach Delhi on the 12th. The Congress is in the process of tackling the ED move through a campaign of political motivation.

Associated Journals Limited, the owner of the National Herald newspaper, was acquired by Young India, a company co-directed by Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. It is alleged that a black money transaction took place in this case. The complaint was lodged in 2012 by former MP Subramanian Swamy. The ED has been pursuing this complaint for more than 10 years. The ED had yesterday asked Congress president Sonia Gandhi to appear before it in connection with the case. But Sonia had replied that Kovid was not cured. He also asked for three weeks. This requirement has been approved by the Directorate of Enforcement.
