Mullaperiyar : Protest in Tamil Nadu by burning Prithviraj’s Portrait

Protest in Tamil Nadu against Prithviraj’s by burning his portrait at Theni District Collectorate, led by All India Forward Bloc activists. Prithviraj had written a post on social media saying that the situation was such that the Mullaperiyar dam should be demolished.

” Whatever the facts and findings, there is no reason or excuse for the 125-year-old dam to still exist. It is time to put aside political and economic reasons and do the right thing. We can only trust this system. “Let us pray that the system makes the right decision,” Prithviraj wrote on Facebook. This is the reason for the huge protest against Prithviraj in Tamil Nadu now. Prithviraj is also widely campaigned on social media.

All India Forward Bloc activists took to social media to protest against actor Prithviraj. Protesters even say that Prithviraj should not act in Tamil films and should not come to Tamil Nadu. Velmurugan MLA also demanded that the Tamil Producers Association take a decision not to allow Malayalam actors including Prithviraj to act in Tamil. All India Forward Bloc District Secretary SR Chakraborty wants case against Prithviraj, Adv Russell Joy. SR Chakraborty said that the Collector and the SP had lodged a complaint against Prithviraj.
