Modi Announces 6 Guarantees for Bengal
Narendra Modi unveiled six key guarantees for West Bengal while addressing a rally in Haldia, promising strict action against corruption if the Bharatiya Janata Party comes to power. He accused the ruling All India Trinamool Congress of slowing the state’s development over the past 15 years and said governance would be based on accountability and the principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.”
The Prime Minister said a BJP-led government would replace fear with trust, ensure accountability, and reopen cases related to corruption and crimes against women. He stressed that no individual involved in wrongdoing—regardless of position—would be spared, adding that action would be taken in line with the Constitution to ensure justice.
Modi also promised strong measures on law enforcement and governance, including jailing those involved in corruption, protecting public funds, and addressing concerns around refugees and illegal infiltration. He further assured implementation of the Seventh Pay Commission and protection for government employees and teachers, aiming to restore confidence in the system.
