Manappuram Miss Queen Kerala to be organised on 30th September
The first edition of Manappuram Miss Queen Kerala is scheduled to be organised at SAJ Earth Resort, Kochi, Kerala, on 30th September.
At least ten beauties from across the state are expected to participate in the prestigious beauty contest.
This is the first time a beauty event is happening in the country since the Covid-19 lockdown.
In the contest, not only the physical beauty of the contestants is gauged, but also their intelligence, talents and social commitment are also measured.
Many acclaimed personalities in the fashion and modelling industry will be present at the judging panel of the contest.
The semi-final round and the final round are the two main rounds in the contest. The online grooming session of the contest has begun on 23rd September. The session is handled by a team of experts in the industry.
Apart from the Miss Queen Kerala, Miss Queen Kerala first runner-up and the Miss Queen Kerala second runner-up titles, the Miss Personality, Miss Ramp Walk, Miss Talent, Miss Humaneness, Miss Glamorous Look, Miss Viewers’ Choice, and the Miss Social Media titles are awarded.
The winners of the contest will receive the golden crowns designed by Parakkat Jewellers.
Manappuram Finance Limited and DQ are the main partner of the event, organised by Pegasus – which has around 20-year experience in the fashion industry. SAJ Earth Resort and Convention Center and Medimix are the powered by partners.
It is a proud moment, Pegasus is the first organiser which has organised a beauty contest excluding the infamous bikini round. The contest is conducted to showcase the rich culture of the South Indian state of Kerala and to promote tourism.

Liya Elizabeth Joshy, Reema Nair, Aiswarya Lakshmi B, Elizabeth Kessya, Sreelakshmi C, Gauri B Nair, Shwetha Jayaram, Vibitha Vijayan, Meenakshi Unnikrishnan and Chandralekha Nath are the contestants of the event.
Miss Queen Kerala is actually an entry point or base towards the competitive world of fashion and entertainment.
Winners of Miss Queen Kerala naturally win the golden opportunity to represent the state in several national and International beauty contests such as Miss South India, Miss Queen of India, Miss Asia and Miss Glam World – organised by Pegasus.
