‘Living my dreams’ : Interview with Sanam Prasad

You won Miss South India 2016 1st runner up. How did that moment feel? What were your expectations?

To be quite honest I was disappointed for not winning the main title. I’m sure every contestant’s aim was to win the main crown. That said, I’m very honored to have been awarded the 1st runner up title. I’m still a winner. And it was an immense confidence boost to me.

How did you prepare for the pageant? What was the process like?

My preparation was minimal and felt my experience in the fashion industry would help me naturally. And it did.

What is your passion? What are your hobbies?

My passion is acting. I want to be part of sensible and sensitive films. My favorite hobbies are reading and travelling.

Are you interested social issues and related cases. Would you like to work more in this field?

I believe it’s a default responsibility for each and everyone of us to have humanity and to ensure we do our bit to contribute towards it. I make it a point to visit old age homes and contribute time and in other little ways. It makes a world of difference to me to spend quality time with the senior inmates who really appreciate our company and affection more than anything else.
