KCR powerful candidate for PM post: KTR
K Taraka Rama Rao -the Telangana Information and Technology Minister and the son of South Indian state Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao- has opined that his father and the state CM could be considered for the Prime Ministerial post as he enjoys the support of a large section of people in his state as well as several national level political leaders.
He has also boasted that his party would win at least fifteen Lok Sabha seats in the upcoming general election. The Indian state of Telangana has nearly seventeen Lok Sabha seats. If the party of KCR and KTR wins as many as fifteen seats, it could be assumed that the party enjoys a concrete majority in the state.
The unexpected statement of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi has come at the time the state government celebrates its successful completion of four and half years in office.
At this moment, it is not clear which all political parties will come forward to support the statement delivered by the TRS aiming the top most seat of the political executive hierarchy of the country.
Till now, the TRS –one of the strongest political parties in the South Indian region- has been assumed as a potential partner of the BJP.
