Kabaddi Player Shot Dead After Argument In Punjab: Police

Dharminder Singh, a Kabaddi player, was shot and killed outside a university in Patiala, Punjab, on Tuesday night, police said.
Dharminder Singh was allegedly shot because of a personal feud, according to police.

“We’ve filed a complaint and are looking for the perpetrators. Both the deceased and the accused are residents of Patiala’s Daun Kalan village “Harpal Singh, Patiala’s Superintendent of Police, said as much.

“My brother was a Kabaddi player and used to organise Kabaddi matches as well,” Dharminder Singh’s brother said.

A video of the incident went viral on social media as well. Sandeep Nangal Ambia, an international Kabaddi player, was shot and killed in Jalandhar earlier this month.
