Jeep compass launched in India

The much awaited Jeep Compass was launched by Fiat Chrysler India on Monday. The premium sports utility vehicle priced between Rs 14.95 lakh  – Rs 20.54 lakh ex showroom New Delhi would prove a threat to the other cars belonging to this segment. The higher variants of Hyundai Creta, Toyota Innova and Mahindra XUS would have a fear of getting eaten up as it belongs to same price bracket.

An early launch was initiated due to the overwhelming public response it received. The vehicle has received a significant number of pre  bookings and enquiries. Almost 5000 units have already been pre booked and there are about 38000 enquiries for compass.

Jeep Compass would be available in 10 different variants. The petrol engine would be powered by a 1.4 litre multi air turbocharged petrol engine and 2 litre multijet Diesel engine.
