JD(S) strongman Danish Ali joins BSP
In a surprising move, Janata Dal (Secular) strongman Danish Ali has joined Bahujan Samaj Party. In the program conducted to grant the leader the official membership of the Mayawati-led party, the national general secretary of BSP, Satish Mishra, has participated. The program has been organised with the blessings of Mayawati.
The JD(S) leadership has supported the decision taken by its beloved leader, who is known for his closeness with former Prime Minister H D Devegowda and Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy.
The JD(S) leadership has indirectly claimed that the leader has consulted the JD(S) leaders before taking the important decision. As per the JD(S)’s narrative, the move is a political strategy to increase the number of non-BJP parliamentarians in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
Mr Ali is expected to contest in the upcoming General Election from Amroha –the constituency situated in the western region of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
When the report about the resignation has first arrived, it has shocked many loyal supporters of the party. The confusion has been eliminated and the tension has been released, only after the Karnataka CM has explained his favourite man’s move as a political decision taken with the blessings of the JD(S) leadership.
