Jayasurya selected as the ‘Best Actor’ For the Indian Film Festival Cincinnati
Jayasurya is one among the very few actors in Mollywood who works hard to get the best out of him for a character. The actor who won the best actor award for his performance in ‘Njan Marykutty’ had surrendered to many physical challenges while performing the role of a transperson named Marykutty. Now the actor has won international honour for the same film. He has won the best actor award at the Indian Film Festival Cincinnati. The film was directed by Ranjith Shanker.
Sharing the news, the actor wrote on his social media page, “So Happy and Proud to share that I have been selected as the ‘Best Actor’ For the Indian Film Festival Cincinnati (USA), for the Movie “Njan Mary Kutty” one of the toughest and most challenging characters in my career. Thank you my dear Ranjith Shankar and the entire cast and crew, my Marykuttees and all of you.
