KKR further strengthened their squad by acquiring Sri Lankan fast bowler Matheesha Pathirana for Rs 18 crore and New Zealand batter Finn Allen for Rs 2 crore, spending over Rs 43 crore in just three picks.

Rajasthan Royals started their campaign by picking up Indian leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi for Rs 7.2 crore after competition from Chennai Super Kings. CSK later turned to West Indies spinner Akeal Hossein for Rs 2 crore and made a big investment in Prashant Veer at Rs 14.20 crore. Mumbai Indians snapped up Quinton de Kock at his base price of Rs 1 crore, while Royal Challengers Bengaluru secured Venkatesh Iyer for Rs 7 crore. Delhi Capitals added experience by signing David Miller and England batter Ben Duckett, both at their base price of Rs 2 crore.

The auction also saw several surprising outcomes, with notable players like Maheesh Theekshana, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, and young Indian prospects including Yash Dhull and Abhinav Manohar going unsold. Lucknow Super Giants strengthened their bowling attack by acquiring Wanindu Hasaranga and South African pacer Anrich Nortje for Rs 2 crore.
