Indian Premier League 2020: Shreyas Iyer confirmed R Ashwin to miss Delhi Capitals’ next two-three matches due to injury

Delhi Capitals skipper Shreyas Iyer confirmed that Ravichandran Ashwin would indeed be missing two-three matches within the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Ashwin had picked up a shoulder injury in Delhi’s first match against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP).

“We needed that win within the first game of the season. The boys are really motivated and that we are during a great mindset. i might have chosen to field also because, within the last match, dew played an excellent part. Ashwin, I feel is doing pretty much, but we wanted to offer him rest for two-three games in order that he feels better. He’s doing well within the gym. We’ve two changes Amit Mishra certainly for Ashwin and Avesh Khan for Mohit Sharma,” Iyer said during the toss against CSK.
