Graphic sketch of characters in Prithviraj starrer epic movie ‘Kaaliyan’ completed

Kaaliyan chronicles an unusual story from the ballads of Venad. Magic MoonProductions, the producers of the movie, has employed the best animationand visualizing experts from India and abroad to sketch the characters in a
way that it does justice to the history and story situation. S. Mahesh, thedirector of the movie has been giving necessary directions to the groupsfunctioning as the in-house team of Magic Moon Productions in Mumbai and
Thiruvananthapuram.

Presently, the pre-visualization digital story board activities of themovie are going on with the technical support of Thiruvananthapuram based M Factory Media. These works are expected to be completed in six months, said
Rajeev Nair, the Producer of the movie. Once this is completed the trainingand audition for the artists would be conducted. The character sketch andother pre-visualization activities would help to find apt artists with the
features of the characters, said Director S. Mahesh. The title launch ofKaaliyan itself had created a wave in the industry. The director also saidmore information regarding the pre-production activities of the movie would
be revealed soon.

Sujith Vasudev is the cinematographer of the movie scripted by B.T. AnilKumar. Kaaliyan also has the credit of being the first movie in Malayalamfor which eminent musical trio Sankar Ehasan Loy will be composing the
music. Shajith Koyeri, the renowned sound designer in Bollywood is theSound Director of Kaaliyan. Tamil actor Sathyaraj also plays key characterin the movie.
