FICCI Appoints New Leadership for Saudi–India Business Council
The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) has announced the nomination of Dr. Siddeek Ahmed Ahmed, Co-Chair of the FICCI Arab Council and Chairman of Eram Holdings, as Chair of the Indian side of the Saudi–India Business Council (SIBC). Alongside him, Ms. Priyanka Mittal, Director of KRBL Limited, has been appointed as Co-Chair, reinforcing India’s leadership representation within the bilateral platform.
The SIBC, jointly established by FICCI and the Federation of Saudi Chambers (FSC), is recognized as one of the most active private sector forums fostering cooperation between India and Saudi Arabia. It serves as a crucial bridge for businesses from both nations, enabling dialogue, partnerships, and strategic collaboration across key sectors.
With the new appointments, the Council is expected to further strengthen its role in promoting economic engagement, enhancing trade ties, and encouraging cross-border investments. The leadership aims to build on the strong foundation of India–Saudi Arabia relations, driving new opportunities for businesses and deepening bilateral economic cooperation.
