Dalit youth was beaten to death and his body was dumped in front of his house: Rajasthan
The government has provided financial assistance of Rs 4.12 lakh to the family of a Dalit youth who was beaten to death over a love affair in Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan.
On Thursday, a group of men killed the young man and dumped his body in front of the house. Authorities intervened after a video of the young man being beaten was circulated.
Police followed the police after the rife took place in custody. The accused seen in the video will be arrested soon, said the Pilibanga Police Circle Inspector. Both the BSP and the BJP have sharply criticized the Congress government in the state.
