‘Coolie No 1’: Karuna Dhawan gives the muhurat clap

‘Coolie No 1’ starring Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan kick started the shoot in Bangkok. It is for the first time Varun and Sara will share the screen space, and their fans are already excited to see this collaboration on the big screen.

Varun’s mom Karuna Dhawan gave the muhurat clap for the film. The makers of the movie shared behind the scenes images from the set where we can see Varun’s mom holding the clap in her hand.

The film is directed by David Dhawan which is the remake of 1995’s Hindi movie of the same name. The film is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh. The original film stared Govinda and Karishma Kapoor in lead roles. Actor Paresh Rawal and Johnny Lever will also be seen playing pivotal roles in the movie.
