Bollywood Actor Govinda Hospitalised After Falling Unconscious at Home
Bollywood veteran Govinda was rushed to CritiCare Asia Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai during the intervening night of November 11 and 12 after he fell unconscious at his residence, PTI reported. According to his friend and legal advisor, Lalit Bindal, the 61-year-old actor experienced disorientation before fainting and was given medicine following a telephonic consultation with a doctor. He was admitted to the hospital around 1 a.m. for emergency care.
Bindal confirmed that several medical tests have been conducted, and the actor is currently awaiting the reports. While further details about his condition remain undisclosed, the sudden hospitalisation comes just a day after Govinda visited veteran actor Dharmendra at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai.
This is not the first time the actor has faced a medical emergency. In October last year, Govinda suffered a bullet injury to his leg after his licensed revolver accidentally misfired at home. He was treated at CritiCare Hospital in Juhu and underwent surgery to remove the bullet.
