Beauty Tips to beat the summer heat
As the summer heat rises, it’s time for us to beat up the summer heat as the sweat can ruin our beauty routines. It is always recommended to tie up your hair in a bun before heading to the outside. Heat, humidity and water can wash away your liquid or powder foundation. So, it is better recommended not to use much of make up during these times. If you prefer to skip the summer foundation it’s better to use a tinted moisturizer with SPF which will keep you away from the harmful sun rays.
Always keep a travel pack of wipes in the fridge and keep them in your travel bag or purse to use them as an afternoon refresher. Soothing your sun-exposed face with chamomile and cucumber also helps a lot to promote a glow to your face and also keeps it healthy.
The first rule is to apply less make up than normally used. A good sunscreen cream or moisturizer would be better than anything. And it is also recommended to use lighter makeup. Incase if you are not able to avoid makeup, then take your own time and apply it as thin layers. By doing this, it will help your skin to breathe and thereby you will end up using fewer products. During the summer time, special attention needs to be given to your body so it’s always recommended to use creams that have an SPF formula in order to avoid sunburns. While going outside, always wear a hat or cover up your hair as said earlier in bun, since the sun can severely damage your hair and leave it broken at the tips. It is considered to wear a fashionable wide brim hat by which you hair as well as your face will also be protected from the unbearable heat of the sun. It is always good to have bath in cold water twice a day to avoid body heat and odor. Eat a lot of fruits and avoid the use of red meat during summer which will heat up our body more, but instead you can use fish and oysters.
Including salads in your diet is a good remedy to overcome the summer heat. Consuming leaf lettuce and using lot of vegetables in your salads are a delicious way as well as a healthy way to stand up the summer. These foods contain a significant amount of water and can actually thin the blood which has a cooling effect. It is also good to hydrate your body by drinking atleast 8-10 glasses of water per day. Water is the best drink that has no sugars which can avoid to unnecessary calories. Drink as much of water even if you are not thirsty in order to stay healthy. Wear loose, full-sleeved cotton clothes to protect your body from the sun and to aid evaporation of sweat. Wearing full sleeved clothes helps you to get rid from the sun burns.
