The Runway to a Billion Opportunities is Aero India 2023’s theme.Even though the event will be heavily dominated by the military, it will also highlight India’s attempts to accommodate a growth in domestic tourism and repair its reputation internationally.
As part of its “Make in India” initiative, the Narendra Modi administration has insisted that companies like Lockheed Martin Corp., Boeing, and Airbus share technology or produce more than just parts in India.
Various Indian and foreign defence businesses are likely to sign 251 agreements totaling an estimated 75,000 crore in investments. A potentially historic agreement to purchase over 500 aircraft from Airbus SE and Boeing Co., valued at more than $100 billion at list prices, is anticipated to be announced by Air India.
