Adani Green Posts Strong Q4 Profit Growth on Higher Power Sales
Adani Green Energy reported a more than 34% rise in fourth-quarter profit, driven by stronger power sales and improved capacity utilisation. The company posted a consolidated profit of 34.2 billion rupees for the quarter ended March 31, compared to 3.83 billion rupees a year earlier, reflecting robust operational performance.
India’s ongoing push toward renewable energy expansion has supported the company’s growth, as it works toward the national target of 500 gigawatts of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030. Revenue from power supply rose 16% to 30.94 billion rupees, while energy sales surged 34%, highlighting increasing demand and efficient output from its projects.
The company’s core power supply segment saw a 20% increase in EBITDA to 29.44 billion rupees, maintaining strong margins of 91%. Overall revenue climbed nearly 14% to 37.37 billion rupees, while operational capacity expanded by 35% during the fiscal year, reinforcing its position as a key player in India’s renewable energy sector.
