Actress And TV Host Subi Suresh Dies At 41

Subi Suresh, a well-known Malayalam actress, television personality, and stage performer, passed away on Wednesday in a private hospital in Kochi, according to family sources. She was 41 years old and was apparently receiving treatment for liver-related conditions. Suresh had a strong fan base among viewers of both small and large screens. She was well known for her comic parts and impromptu on-stage dialogue delivery.

Years ago, she began her career as a mimicry performer with the Cochin Kalabhavan company, and over time she progressively carved out a place for herself in the male-dominated stage and television comedies.

She quickly established herself as a staple of the live stage performances hosted by several television networks and won over viewers with her funny roles in hit TV shows like Cinemala. She also demonstrated her abilities as an effective TV host on several stations.

Subi Suresh made his Hollywood debut in 2006 with the film Kanakasimhasanam. Since then, he has appeared in over 20 movies, including Elsamma Enna Aankutty and Happy Husbands, in small but memorable roles.

Individuals from all walks of life expressed shock at the actor-sudden anchor’s passing.

In expressing his condolences for her passing, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan noted that she had gained popularity among Malayalis thanks to humour and reality television. He said in his statement that Subi Suresh’s passing had cost the world a talented artist with a bright future.
