Actor Mohanlal finally breaks his silence in ‘Dileep issue’
Several days after the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes’ decision to revoke the suspension given to a Malayalam actor Dileep inflicted a serious setback to the leadership of the new administration which took over the helm of the Malayalam industry film actors association under the command of the state’s most popular superstar Mohanlal, the superstar, breaking his long silence which has been triggering serious criticisms from several corners since the controversial decision was taken, has asserted that the tainted actor, who is under trial for a serious change, would stay outside the organisation until he comes clear of all serious charges levelled against him.
In the conference organised in the commercial capital of the state Kochi, the AMMA President has said that the organisation, which he leads, would stay with the victim (the actress who was allegedly sexually abused at the behest of the suspended actor, as per the case registered by the Kerala Police).
Meanwhile, the actors’ leader has added that he wish the tainted actor comes clear of all charges levelled against him.
It is learned that the AMMA’s new president is willing to conduct discussions with those members, particularly the member of WCC, the powerful women centric organisation of Malayalam film actors, who filed their resignation in the AMMA organisation in protest against a general body’s decision to bring back the suspended actor into the organisation.
