Ranbir Kapoor, Ananya Panday’s new ad has fans calling out their 17 year age gap
Ananya Panday and Ranbir Kapoor appear to be from different generations, however as the public is well aware, older male actors are frequently cast with younger female performers. Recently, Ranbir and Ananya appeared in a new advertisement that highlighted this.
While some fans were uneasy with the age difference, most agreed that their chemistry seemed more convincing than Ranbir and Alia’s. The advertisement portrays them as a passionate pair. One comment stated, “They have greater chemistry than Ranbir and Alia.” Another comment said, “Wow, RK can act with anyone.” One more admirer said, “Wow what fantastic connection… feels very genuine!
Another set of remarks referred to the age difference between Ranbir and Ananya. They are separated by 17 years. “Our society criticizes/makes fun of it extremely negatively if a 40-year-old lady romances a 23-year-old Boy (in an ad/a movie), but there is no issue with men,” read one response. One of the comments made a subtle suggestion that RK and Ananya might be paired up in another movie as father-daughter actors. It said, “Seems like baap beti ki jodi.”
Brahmastra is where Ranbir Kapoor was last seen. Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, in which he co-stars with Rashmika Mandanna, and Luv Ranjan’s untitled follow-up, in which he co-stars with Shraddha Kapoor, are among his upcoming movies. Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, starring Adarsh Gourav and Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Dream Girl 2, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, are upcoming films that Ananya Panday is looking forward.
