‘Stand Up’: Nimisha Sajayan-Rajisha Vijayan’s next venture set to release in November

Award-winning director Vidhu Vincent, who is also a member of Women in Cinema Collective, is all busy with the production of her second directorial ‘Stand Up’. Nimisha Sajayan and Rajisha Vijayan will be seen in lead roles in the movie.

According to the recent reports the movie will be released in November and its teaser will be launched in the first week of October.

On the film, Vidhu had earlier told us that it is a story of two women and is narrated through one among them who is a stand-up comedian. Nimisha plays the character and she will tell her life story to us- her happiness, her sorrow, her worries, her friends, her family and everything about her – through her performances.

Vidhu had told that she wants to keep Rajisha’s character a surprising one. “I do not want to reveal about it as there lies the suspense of the movie.” The movie is scripted by Umesh Omanakuttan, the writter of Man Hole.
