Rain brings devastation in Kerala

Incessant rain has brought havoc in the Indian state of Kerala. As many as ten people have lost their lives in rain-related incidents in the state. Several people have been shifted to relief camps to ensure the safety of the people. The northern and central states of the state are the worst affected region, compared to the south, where the situation is under control. Land slide and heavy wind have been experienced by several regions in the state. As per latest weather updates, the climate condition will remain unchanged for at least next twenty four hours. Rescue officials have been deployed in the affected regions to help the people. The people in the affected regions are advised to cooperate with the rescue officials who are in the regions to support the people. What is seen now is the return of the last year’s depressing memories. Meanwhile, the government has expressed confidence in its ability to tackle the situation. This year’s devastation is not as serious as the last year’s. So, the state, which tacked the last year’s havoc, can easily overcome the present crisis. The central government is closely monitoring the situation in the state. All the necessary assistances have been offered to the state by the centre.

Kerala is not the only state which is suffering due to rain at this moment. The things in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Goa and Delhi are not different.

Environment experts suggest that the natural disaster should be subjected to serious studies in order to prevent the reputation of the disaster in future.
