Leftist rebels plot disastrous attacks

Quoting some letter optioned during the raids conducted in the houses of those arrested in connection with the Bhima-Koregaon violence case, the Pune police before a session court has alleged that the leftist rebels have plotted some disastrous attacks.  

At this moment, it is not clear that is there any other evidence with the police to support the allegations made against the arrestees, other than the letters.

The court has remanded all arrestees to police custody when they have been produced before the court as part of the legal procedure.

All letters, which the police have used as an evidence to convince the involvement of the arrestees in the Bhima-Koregaon case, have been presented before the court at the time the arrestees have been produced before the court.

Meanwhile, the defence lawyer has expressed doubts about the authenticity of the letters presented before the court. The lawyer has argued that the raids that said to be conducted to recover the documents actually happened several months ago. The lawyer has questioned that why the police has not presented the letters before if they actually recovered it during the raids.   

The lawyer, trying to prove that it is a politically motivated case fabricated to frame those having a different view point compared to the ruling elites, has pointed out the reluctance of the authority to take stern actions against the rightist arrestees taken into custody over similar allegations.
